There are 11 proposed adjustments affecting routes and route groupings across the MBTA bus network. Of particular potential interest to Grid riders, the proposed adjustments include possible updates to:

  • Route 85 in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville;
  • Routes 67, 80, 94, 96, and/or 350 in Medford, Cambridge, Somerville, and Arlington;
  • and Route 504 in Boston and Newton.

The MBTA held a virtual public presentation on the proposed updates on June 15, 2026, and is now seeking public feedback. Riders can submit comments by mail, email, survey, or by participating in a series of virtual public meetings and in-person open houses.
