The Top 10 Grid Riders of 2024
We just sent out surprise Amazon gift cards for our Top Ten Riders of 2024, so it’s a good time to share a few quick facts about these amazing riders.
Our #1 rider system-wide took an awe-inspiring 501 rides on Route A1: Alewife Shuttle between 1050 Waltham St (Revolution Labs) and Alewife Station in 2024. That means they rode the shuttle both directions just about every in-service workday!
The #1 rider on the W1: Waltham Shuttle took 483 rides between 35 Gatehouse Dr (Alexandria RE Equities) and Waltham Center.
The #1 rider on the N1: Needham Shuttle took 427 rides between 89 A St (MCPF-Needham, LLC) and Newton Highlands.
The #1 rider on the on the R1: REV Bus Hartwell Area took 423 rides between 45 Wiggins Ave (Preston Court) and Alewife Station.
Altogether, our ten awardees completed a total of 4,478 rides on The Grid in 2024! Those 4,478 rides amount to at least 37,621 miles not taken in single-occupancy vehicles; 1,445 hours reclaimed from driving alone; and 23,043 lbs. of carbon kept out of the atmosphere.
