Every year on September 22, cities around the world celebrate World Car Free Day. Here in Massachusetts, MassCommute—the coalition of Transportation Management Associations (TMAs)—is proud to host the third annual Car-Free Day celebration.

We’re challenging commuters across Massachusetts to leave the car behind and use an eco-friendly mode of transportation for the day.

We encourage 128 Business Council/The Grid commuters to try biking, walking, public transit, ferry, telework, carpooling, or shuttles. By taking the pledge, you’ll be part of a global movement, making a positive impact on the environment, and helping to create a greener Massachusetts.

Everyone who takes the Car Free Day Pledge will be entered to win exciting prizes including:
