Alewife and Waltham Shuttles Turn 35!

Thirty-five years worth celebrating. We marked the milestone with a week of shuttle trivia, big raffles, and on-the-ground rider outreach at Alewife Station and Waltham Center.
Throughout October 2024, we celebrated the 35th anniversary of both the W1: Waltham Shuttle and the Alewife Shuttle System (A1, A2, A3, A5, A6)!
In honor of this important milestone, we organized a week-long shuttle-related trivia contest leading to one of our biggest-ever prize raffles.
Prizes included tickets to CiderFeast Boston, a $50 gift card to Wilson’s Farm, a $50 gift card to Wheelworks bike shop, a $50 preloaded MBTA Charlie Card, and a 40-ride shuttle pass.
128 Business Council staff also hauled their swag tables to Alewife Staton and Waltham Center to connect with riders and hand out free giveaways!
