As Member & Shuttle Operations Manager, Gina Provost serves as the primary point of contact for 128 Business Council’s member representatives, ensuring they have the information and resources needed to support their affiliated shuttle riders and other commuters. She takes the lead on member relationship management—tracking and maintaining the web of connections essential to keeping member companies engaged and ensuring strong support for their affiliated commuters. Beyond member relations, Gina plays a vital role in shuttle operations, collaborating across technology, communications, and marketing to ensure seamless service and support. With a strong problem-solving mindset and an ever-expanding skill set, she thrives in a cross-disciplinary environment where adaptability is key.

Gina’s impact extends well beyond daily operations. She has played a key role in major initiatives, including the launch of Grid 2.0, the rollout of corporate member fare auto-approval, and multiple grant procurement efforts. At the same time, she fully embraces the diverse responsibilities that come with working in a small, dynamic team. Whether she’s co-coordinating the annual Mode Shift Challenge, organizing driver appreciation efforts, managing internal office logistics, or creating driver ID cards, Gina ensures that both high-level initiatives and behind-the-scenes details receive the attention they need.

Gina’s move into transportation was a purposeful step toward work that aligned with her values. With a strong foundation in customer service, she saw an opportunity at 128 Business Council to apply her skills in a way that connected people and strengthened communities. As her experience has grown, so has her role—along with her understanding of transportation’s deeper impact on access, mobility, and sustainability.

Gina has consistently made professional development a priority. She actively engages with the non-profit coalition of Massachusetts’s Transportation Management Associations, MassCommute, and is an active member of the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT), which has allowed her to deepen her knowledge of Transportation Demand Management. Her dedication to learning epitomizes 128 Business Council’s data-driven approach, as she contributes to the team’s ongoing research into traffic patterns, commuter habits, real estate trends, and more.

A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Gina grew up in Woburn, spent time in Melrose, and now calls Medford home. Her work in transportation has reshaped how she sees her community, the Commonwealth, and the world. In her own words: Transportation is never just about getting someone from point A to point B. Transportation is about working with your community, collaborating with local governments, and constantly adapting to change. Everyone deserves the ability to access their job, their doctor, family, friends, errands, and so on—whether they own a car or not.
